The main campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is located in Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès), 20 km from Barcelona, between Sabadell and Sant Cugat del Vallès. There are several options to get to the campus:
There are two train services that reach the UAB: FGC and RENFE. You only need a 1-zone ticket to come to UAB from Barcelona's urban area.
With Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), take Lines S2 or S55 and get off at Universitat Autònoma station. The trip takes about 30 minutes, and trains depart approximately every 10 minutes.
With RENFE, take Line R7 - Cerdanyola Universitat station. The journey takes around 30 minutes from the centre of Barcelona, and the train frequency is of about 30 minutes. You may need to transfer at St. Andreu Arenal to catch the R7 line. A free bus service connects the RENFE station to the different buildings across the campus.
SARBUS provides a bus service from Barcelona (St. Andreu Arenal/Fabra i Puig) to the UAB, with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. There are daily bus services from many towns, including Igualada, Badalona, Sabadell and Mataró.
From Barcelona, use the B-30 of the AP-7 and take exit "Universitat Autònoma". From Bellaterra and Sabadell, take the road BV-1414. From Cerdanyola del Vallès, take the road of Serragalliners.
Once at the UAB campus, you have to get to Building Q. The following map shows its exact coordinates. Please notice that the building is close to the RENFE station but a 10-minute walk from the FGC station.
